Accurate prices are the reason this website exists. This page explains where our Chick-fil-A prices, nutrition numbers and hours come from, how often we update them and how we correct mistakes.
Where our prices come from
Chick-fil-A prices vary by location, so the same sandwich can cost noticeably more in one city than in another. To find a typical price, we:
- Pick one Chick-fil-A restaurant in each of several U.S. cities. Our November 2026 check covered 29 Chick-fil-A restaurants in 17 states and Washington, D.C.: Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Birmingham, AL; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; El Paso, TX; Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Jacksonville, FL; Memphis, TN; Miami, FL; Nashville, TN; New Orleans, LA; New York, NY; Oklahoma City, OK; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh, NC; Richmond, VA; San Antonio, TX; St. Louis, MO; Tampa, FL; Washington, DC.
- Read each restaurant’s public online ordering menu for carry-out, the same prices any customer sees after choosing that restaurant on chick-fil-a.com or in the app, one item page at a time.
- Use the middle price charged across those restaurants (the lower median) as the typical price, and show the lowest and highest prices we found.
Prices are carry-out menu prices before taxes, tips and delivery charges. Meal prices are for an entrée with a medium Waffle Potato Fries and a medium drink.
Where our nutrition, allergen and product information comes from
Calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein and sodium come from Chick-fil-A’s official Nutrition & Allergens page on chick-fil-a.com. Allergens and product descriptions come from each item’s official page. Where Chick-fil-A lists nutrition for a specific version (for example a salad with a certain chicken), we say so on the item page.
Where our hours come from
Opening and closing hours and services such as drive-thru, delivery, breakfast and playgrounds come from Chick-fil-A’s public restaurant pages; we looked up 208 restaurants near 49 U.S. cities. Breakfast hours, Sunday and holiday closures come from Chick-fil-A’s customer support pages.
Estimates
Chick-fil-A does not publish catering tray prices online. Where we estimate a tray price, we say it is an estimate and explain how we calculated it.
How often we update
We review prices at least monthly and whenever Chick-fil-A announces a menu change. Each page shows the date prices were last checked.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report and update pages when the evidence supports a change.
